Summer!!!!!!
So class is finally over. Several people I know graduated and so spent the weekend at various graduation parties and whatnot, been fun :). Now though, time to get back to business, Zach has been putting a lot of work into Refraction the past couple weeks and it’s really looking good for the 1.5 release, I think you guys will really get a kick out of it.
Sean has been working on fleshing out a new game and getting a working prototype up and running. I’ll post some screenies when we have something a little more substantial.
I have been attempting to learn openGL. If you can believe it Refraction simply uses the Android Canvas for all of it’s drawing. Not the most efficient manner, but it was what we picked up first at the time. So now I’ve been playing with openGL and I think from now on, unless we release some basic looking applications, everything will be in openGL.
Hopefully in a month or so we will be able to get you guys a preview of our next title, but until then keep on checking out the updates to refraction, there have been some great additions to the game and we’re close to introducing two new game objects as well that put a real neat twist on the gameplay :).
Talk to you guys soon.
